Dangerously Awake
OUT NOW

The song
We all pretend. To ourselves, to each other, to the people we love. We arrange our faces. We perform our lives. And somewhere along the way, the pretending becomes so total that the only place left for anything honest is the dreams we have when we sleep.
Dangerously Awake is about the moment you wake up from one of those dreams. The liminal space between asleep and awake, where for a few seconds you can still feel what was real — and you fight, with everything, to stay there.
In the end, it's good that we can't stay. Truth belongs in the awake world too. We don't have to hide.

What a show!
The bridge of Dangerously Awake, lifted by the Edinburgh Gay Men's Chorus and an absolutely incredible audience at the Cirque Royal in Brussels for the Treachery of Images concert at Various Voices 2026!

Waken or Aether
Dangerously Awake lives in the worlds between worlds. Between the Waken and the Aether. What is real can be relative and what we live can be untrue.

Watch a video developed by Manos Phi (with use of AI) bringing to life the distracting saturation of Waken and the calm, subtle flow of the Aether world.
