Founded in 2013 by musician and producer Nikos Voyiatzakis, Mad Hat Music is a distinguished production company known far beyond Crete. Combining state-of-the-art equipment with extensive experience, their goal is to bring your personality into the spotlight and showcase your unique style.
Working with Nikos has been an incredible experience — he has a gift for taking the an acoustic demo and bringing it to life with fresh ideas and surprising twists, always in service of the vision behind each song.
Fun Fact: After we officially started collaborating in 2025, Nikos and I realized we had actually crossed paths — and shared a few drinks — way back in 1998 somewhere in North East England. Small world!
An award-winning conductor and vocal coach with a PhD focusing on singers' needs, Kathleen has worked with prestigious organizations like Scottish Opera and currently directs Loud & Proud.
Working with her on my vocal technique has been truly transformative; her deep knowledge and insight have been absolutely invaluable to my journey.
Founded in 2007, the Edinburgh Gay Men’s Chorus (EGMC) is a vibrant 50-voice community dedicated to music, self-expression, and supporting local charities. From pop anthems to Scottish classics, they bring their signature energy to concerts and events all year round.
Joining them in 2023 completely renewed my passion for singing, transforming it from a solitary pursuit into a deeply fun, shared experience.
A classically trained musician and longtime educator, James is the founding conductor of EGMC and continues to shape its sound today, arranging everything from classical masterpieces to boyband hits.
In the short time we've worked together, he's been a huge source of encouragement, teaching me so much about music and arranging. Working with him to arrange some of my own songs for the choir has been invaluable — a process that's helped me understand my own music on a much deeper level.
