Hello, World!

If you’ve ever written a line of code, you’ll recognise the title.
“Hello, World!” is often the first thing a programmer asks a machine to say—a small signal sent out to confirm that something is alive, working, and ready to communicate. In that spirit, this post is my own version of that signal.

By day, I’m a computer scientist. I’ve spent years working with complex systems, where precision matters and mistakes are costly. That mindset has shaped how I approach many things in my life—including music. And perhaps too much so.
I’ve been writing songs for over twenty years. Most of them have lived quietly: on hard drives, in notebooks, in half-finished demos, or only in my head. I’ve always told myself they weren’t ready yet. Not polished enough. Not finished enough. Not good enough.
I’m tired of perfect being the enemy of good.
This website exists because I’ve decided to put my music into the world—not when everything is flawless, not when I have all the answers, but now. I’m choosing to trust that the value of a song isn’t measured by its perfection, but by whether it connects with someone, somewhere, at the right moment.
Music has helped me through many stages of my life. It has given me language when I didn’t have words, comfort when I didn’t have clarity, and companionship when I felt out of place. I don’t expect my songs to change the world. But I do believe that somewhere, someday, someone might hear one of them and feel a little less alone. And that feels like enough.
In the coming months, I’ll be sharing music I’ve held onto for a long time, alongside cover songs, mashups, new work and collaborations. Some of it will arrive in unexpected ways and places. All of it will be honest.
As the lyrics in one of my songs says: "I never thought that I would say all the things I want to tell you...". But here I am now. Thanks for listening!

P.S.: Be kind. :)
